Collection Development
The Collection Development Department is responsible for coordinating the selection of all library materials in print and electronic formats for Love Library. Collection Development is a cooperative effort drawing on the subject expertise of the library faculty. Our first priority is to support the curricular and research needs of the University based on an ongoing analysis of existing and proposed courses. While most selection activities are carried out by the library faculty, Love Library welcomes and encourages the input of the faculty, staff and administrators from all Colleges, administrative units and the Imperial Valley campus.
