SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY's
ELECTRONIC COURSE RESERVES
San Diego State University Library is happy to unveil our new Electronic Course Reserves (ECR). ECR is a totally web-based application offering access to course readings, links to the Library's electronic databases, course bulletin boards and chat rooms. We especially encourage the use of this service for faculty members who wish to make their lecture notes, sample exams and homework solutions available, and who have large class sizes. Please visit our web site at:
http://ecr.sdsu.edu/
A faculty member may have documents added to ECR simply by sending an email to :
ECR accepts most file formats. Just attach a file to your email with a note telling us the title of the document and the course you are teaching. Or... deliver the pages to be scanned to us at the Reserve Book Room desk, LA2201. (Please make sure pages that are to be scanned are good quality copies.) Verification of receipt will be made to you, along with the password needed for your students to access the course.
If the documents you wish to include are homework solutions, sample exams or lecture notes written by you, copyright clearance is assumed.
If the documents are registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, a photocopy of the pages indicating the copyright year/symbol must be included with the articles, along with full source information. Please see our web page on ECR Copyright Guidelines.
